Kuuk Popsicle Mold Review & Popsicle Recipes

Eating Popsicle always remind me of my childhood back in Marikina City in the Philippines.  When I was young, I used to buy this frozen goodies called Ice Candy from a nice lady, who I fondly call “Lola Andang”, whose store was just across the street from my house.

I was given an opportunity to try and sample Kuuk Popsicle Mold. I was pretty excited to try it simply because the mold slightly resembles the Ice Candies back in the Philippines.

First of all, the Kuuk Popsicle mold is made out of 100 % silicone plastic. It is BPA free and it is free from chemicals that usually leave a certain taste to food that it comes in contact. It was washable and dishwasher safe too.  It is very durable and it is also reusable.

The cylindrical cone shape mold also comes with a silicone tight lid, which protects the contents from spilling. I like that I do not have to prop it up with a plastic cup when I store it, I can simply lay it flat in the freezer without spilling a single drop.

The only thing that I find a bit odd is the diameter of the mold – it is a bit too big making it slightly awkward to eat.  However, I guess, on the other hand, its size can accommodate more yummy goodness.

Some ideas in using the Kuuk Popsicle molds:

Use it to store kiddie snacks like M&M’s, Goldfish crackers, peanuts, mini Oreos, etc.

In the Philippines, we eat avocado as a dessert.  We barely eat it with food or in a sandwich. Avocado Ice Candy is an all-time favorite in the Philippines.

Ingredients:

½ Cup of Condensed Milk (optional if you want your Popsicle sweeter and milkier)

Strawberry Lemonade Popsicle
