Here are the items in the box:

The theme this month is Cali Love

Here's a closer look of the goodies:

Laqa and Co
Cloud Lips

Sorme Treatment Cosmetics
Natural Green Tea Blotting Paper

Crown Brush
Angled Brush

Markeraide
Facial Mask

Beauty Creations
Cali Set Eyeshadow Palette

According to Yes Oh Yas, the total retail value of the items in the box is $94. Here is the breakdown:
Beauty Creations Palette: $28
Sorme Blotting Paper - $12
Laqa & Co - $20
Crown Brush Contour Brush - $22
Masker Aide - $12

The declared value of the unknown Markeraide mask made me take a second look on the items in this month's box. I first checked the retail price of the masks online and found it between $4-$6 dollars per piece versus the $12 that Yes Oh Yas declared.

I then checked the other items and I was pretty surprised with what I found:

The Beauty Creations Palette is only  $17 online at Beauty Creations website. This is the regular price and not a sale price.

The Crown Brush Ombre Angle Brush is on sale at Crownbrush.com for only $.99 cents - a whopping $21 difference!

The Laqa and Co Cloud lipstick is only $17 compared to the declared  $20 price tag. This is the regular price and not a sale price.

I do not understand why Yes Oh Yas would deliberately inflate the value of their items just to make it sound like its subscribers are getting 300% more than what the subscription costs. Dishonest acts such as these can cost their company in the long run. I feel like like they underestimated their subscribers by feeding us wrong information and expecting us to just swallow it up.
We are not dumb.

Too bad because their stuff are really good. They just have to be honest about the information that they give to their subscribers.

Is is really $94???

This experience taught me to always -always- always double check everything! Now, specially, with Yes Oh Yas!

Boxy Charm is a monthly beauty subscription service. It features 4-5 full sized products. The cost of subscription is $21 and that already includes shipping. The value of the entire box is more than triple the amount of the subscription.  Brands included are more on the higher scale making this box one of the most inexpensive way to try fancy cosmetics and skincare items.

The theme this month is Life of the Party

As always, this month has 5 full sized items.

Here are the items in the box:

Here's a closer look:

Becca Primer
(Assorted Selection)
Retail: $15 - $18

Laura Lee Los Angeles
Party Animal Eyeshadow Palette
Retail: $19

Wander
Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks
Retail: $13

Bang Beauty
Chocolate Eyeliner
Retail: $22

Smashbox
Assorted Lip Products
Retail: $21-24

NCLA
So Rich Lollipop Lollipop
Vitamin Infused Cuticle Oil
Retail: $18

OMG. This perhaps is the most unexciting and dead-on ugliest selection of beauty products that I have ever received from Boxycharm. The palette is way too colorful for me - reminds me of a Halloween face mask up palette from CVS. The eyeliner pot I got is as dry like the Sahara dessert! The lippies from Smashbox looks like something that did not sell in the stores - therefore given free to unlucky subscribers!

I get that this is a "party" themed box but heck, what kind of party? Clown party?

Anyway, there is a total of 6 items this month. I guess, the more items you get the suckier the items.  This month's box is not well thought of - it's more like beauty leftovers and unsellable items.

Hoping to get better boxes in the future. :)

Urang Vitamin Oil Serum

This perhaps is one of the best and most aromatic oil I have ever stumbled upon! It smells amazing! I am always in to aromatherapy and this one definitely took skincare to a whole new level.

It has a blend of rosehip oil, lavender, rose absolute, myrrh, frankincense and rosewood. It also has jojoba seed oil which is known for its moisturizing effects on the skin.

It is easily absorbed by the skin and does not leave it feeling oily even after a few hours. This serum can be used alone or can be mixed with moisturizer. The scent lingers, but don’t worry, it is very faint and mellow. You won’t be smelling like a bouquet of flowers!

This serum is ok to use even in the summer weather  (when used sparingly) because it is not heavy on the skin. On the other hand, during the winter months, this serum can be added with moisturizer for a more heavy-set and full-packed hydration.

I got this from 08Liter for a small fee in exchange of a review.

MishiBox is a Korean beauty monthly subscription box.

It offers a combination of 4-6 deluxe and full-sized Korean beauty products each month. Subscription is $19.95 per month with free shipping.  They also offer an annual subscription rate of $239.40. This is the easiest and most affordable way to try and test Korean beauty brands.

Each box contains a card describing all the items in the box.  It also gives the instructions on  how to use the products.  This is very helpful since most labels and how to's are written in Korean.

Here is this month's box:

Here is a closer look:

iUNIK
Rose Galactomyces Energy Serum
Full Size
Retail: $20

Combines two of the most effective and time tested skin care ingredients:
Rose Water for balancing, calming and moisturizing the skin and Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate for sebum control, wrinkle care and skin brightening.

Wangskin
Eyebrow Tattoo Pen
Full Size
Retail: $15

Long lasting and waterproof eyebrow pen.

ETTANG

Cook Pack the Fresh Rubber Mask
Full Size
Retail: $6

Rubber mask is becoming big right now. What better time to include this mix-yourself rubber mask in this box!

Esfolio
Pure Skin Essence Sheet Mask
Full Size
Retail: $2

This line of mask is one of the best least expensive masks in the market. I love that these masks hydrates and brightens the skin without leaving any of the tacky and sticky after feel.

La'ador
Perfect Hair Fill-Up Ampoule
Retail: $4

This hair ampoule nourishes and repairs damaged hair. I believe that I got this same product from Mishi about a year ago.

The total value of this month's box is $47. Mishibox does not really give high priced items in their box but at least they do not go below the cost of their subscription. Double the value is always better than just meeting the cut.

My favorite item to try in this month's selection would be the Ettang Cook Pack The Fresh Rubber Mask. I have heard about it and I am pretty excited to try it.
