Ok, So Play! by Sephora has been failing for me for quite some time already.  I get why this subscription service is very popular - duh, it's Sephora - BUT - the selections are just so poor. There is really nothing new. Also, for a big cosmetic company, I am pretty sure that they can afford to throw in full sized products. I am tired of small deluxe sized samplers.  Thank goodness that this box is only $10 - if it is more then this is definitely a waste. 

Perhaps it is time to cancel.  I will run it for a few more months and if it does not improve, then it is time to say, "Adios, Play!"

I have been subscribed to Play! for a couple of months now and I am still 50-50 about this subscription.  Yes, the items are high quality and high value. There is also always a good mix of skincare and cosmetics. I just cannot pinpoint why I am not 100% happy with the selection and the goodies.  Perhaps because they do not throw in full sized products? I don't know. One thing for sure is that I am glad they do not give sachet samples. That would be definitely a deal breaker for me. 

As for this month's box, I am happy to receive and try Glamglow - I heard a lot of good things about it.  I also like the Laura Mercier eyeshadow.

This lipstick has a sweet scent and 'taste'. I also love that it applies very smoothly on to the lips.  What I do not like? The color - it is just too pale for my medium tanned skin.

Anything Make Up For Ever is good for me.  This eye shadow is well pigmented - the color is pretty awesome too! One thing I noticed though that most subscription box gives gold/brown toned shadows - I guess Play! is joining the gold wagon too!

I am still in limbo with regard to continuing this subscription service - the products are really small but then the brands are good and high end.  I just wish that they give a full size item soon.
