CALA Ultra Hydra



The CALA Ultra Hydra Line specializes on replenishing the moisture on the skin. It penetrates deeply into the skin bringing in high concentration of of hyaluronic acid, thus targeting fine lines and wrinkles.



Notable ingredients include: Meadowfoam seed oil, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Squalene, Sodium Hyaluronate, Peony Root Extract, Lily of the Valley Extract, Morning Glory Extract and Madonna Lily Extract.



This serum is thick and has a distinct floral scent. It applies smooth on the skin and it sinks in fast and quick.

CALA Ultra Hydra Lotion



Having hyaluronic acid as its star ingredient, this facial lotion enhances the skin’s natural moisture barrier. It hydrates the skin and makes it look plumper and more youthful.



Notable ingredients include: Meadowfoam seed oil, Jojoba Oil, Squalene, Sodium Hyaluronate, Peony Root Extract, Lily of the Valley Extract, Morning Glory Extract and Madonna Lily Extract.




Similar to the serum, the lotion has a floral scent that lingers after application. It really does add a good layer of moisture on the skin without leaving any greasy feeling. It is suitable to be used both in the morning and evening.

There really is no banner theme for Mishibox, instead it usually has a set idea that makes all the items complement each other. For this month, focus is on sun safety. It's just like agetting a complete sun care kit!

This perhaps is my favorite in the bunch. I am already a fan of this product and I am more than happy to have another tube to last me this summer. This very light sunscreen has spf 50+++ rating for for both UVA and UVB rays. It is highly moisturizing and it also gives the skin a velvety smooth finish without any white cast.

Aloe 99% Soothing Gel

This moisturizer is very lightweight and refreshing to the skin. It contains 99% aloe vera harvested from Jeju Island. 


Choonee

Summer is not really the time for a full thick make-up. This lovely tint balm gives a beautiful light and sheer pop pf color while moisturizing the lips.

This mask is 50% lighter than regular mask and is designed to stick on to the skin like mochi. How fun is that?!

I have never used a breast pack before - so this is really very new to me. This hydrogel mask is designed to moisturize and plump the skin .  

All in all the total value of this month's Mishibox is $42. It is double the amount of subscription which is not really spectacular. I hope that Mishibox will work on the value of products in their boxes. The sheet masks are great but is not really something that adds up to the worth of the box. Perhaps instead of giving one mask, they can give 2 or 3 (like Ipsy) of the same product.

This mask contains bamboo charcoal which absorbs dirt. It also has Bulgarian Rose extract which brightens the skin.

This foot mask contains dry essence which is already infused with the cloth - hence no slippery and wet feel during treatment.

This on-the-go trial size is perfect for removing remaining make-up that is not removed by cleanser alone. It contains Cantella Asiatica extract which gently exfoliate the skin as well as decrease inflammation.

Contains 64% Damask Rose Water. It brightens, improves and even out the skin's texture. Notable ingredients includes: Rose Oil, Argan Oil and Camelia Oil. 

I tried this ampoule already and it is really good. It is slightly scented.  Unfortunately, the price is a bit steep for me - if a small size like this is already $14 then I wonder how  much a full size would cost? Oh well.

Highly pigmented lipstick. It is also very moisturizing on the lips. It did not dry my lips at all. 


Choonee
Water-Peak Moisture Gel

This is the perfect summer moisturizer because it is not heavy on the skin. It is very refreshing and hydrating without leaving the skin oily. It also contains hyaluronic acid. 

The value of this month's Mishibox is $46 - but the selection is not that amazing. The only thing that I like in the box is the Medilab ampoule and unfortunately it came in a trial size. The masks are ok but the value it pitches in the box doesn't make a dent. I like the lipstick from Beauskin simply because  the color I received suits me (and definitely not red or pink like always). 

What I noticed about Mishibox is that the monthly boxes are either a hit or a miss. It is not consistent in terms of value or curation.
