Boxy Charm is a monthly beauty subscription service. It features 4-5 full sized products. The cost of subscription is $21 and that already includes shipping. The value of the entire box is more than triple the amount of the subscription.  Brands included are more on the higher scale making this box one of the most inexpensive way to try fancy cosmetics and skincare items.

The theme this month is Eye Candy.

As always, this month has 5 full sized items.

Here are the items in the box:

Here is a closer look of the goodies:

Dr. Brandt
Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner
Value: $47.00

The Browgal
Instatint - Tinted eyebrow Gel
Value: $22.00

Adesse
Hi Definition Liquid Lipstick
Value: $24.00

Tarte
Tartiest Pro Glow: Liquid Highlighter
Value: $29.00

Colourpop
My Little Pony Eyeshadow Palette
Value: $16.00

I guess that the most popular and most coveted item in this month's box is the My Little Pony palette. I believe there are 5 possible variations of this palette - so it's a hit or miss - not everyone got it. Lucky me! However, my favorite item is not the palette - I love the Dr. Brandt mask and the Browgal tinted eyebrow gel.

The total value of this month's box is a whopping $138!
Yes, Oh Yas! is a monthly beauty subscription box featuring 3-7 full sized products. The cost of subscription is $14.99 plus shipping cost is $3.99 (including Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii) making it a total of $18.98 per month.

This is my first ever Yes, Oh Yas! box and I am very impressed with the contents. It beats Ipsy in terms of the value and so far, edging close to Boxy Charm. This subscription has been around for less than a year but I am pretty sure that it will be the must have subscription service any time soon.

The theme this month is Color Me Pretty!

Here are the goodies that I received:

For this month, I got a set of 12 brushes + case, bronzer, mascara and an eyeliner.

Here's a closer look of the goodies:

Crown Brush 12 Piece Vegan Brush Set
with Pink Case
Value: $29.99

Now, who gives a set of 12 brushes?!  Yes, Oh Yas! Baby! I always receive a brush or perhaps a set of 3 from other subscription service but never a full set like this?

The case for this set - honestly I am not crazy about it. It's made cheap vinyl but it's a good case to house all the brushes. It is also light weight and folds thin.

The brushes are pretty and soft!

Bella Terra
Sensual Mineral Bronzer
Value: $24.99

Girlactik
Mechanical Eyeliner
Value: $19.99

Manna Kadar
Flutter Mascara
Value: $29.99

Other subscribers received the Manna Kadar Lash Extending Primer which is valued at $24.99.

The total value for this month's box is a whopping $104.96! Very impressive! I have seen the past two boxes of this box on Instagram and I am floored with what was in it - and this month definitely did not disappoint!

Etude House Acai Berry Mask

I got this mask for review purposes from @skin18

This mask contains Acai Berry extract which has antioxidant properties which fights free radicals that are present on the skin.

The essence is clear and almost runny in consistency. It has a slight and very faint fruity (perhaps Acai Berry) scent that is almost unnoticeable. The sheet mask is white and the thickness is good – not too thick nor thin and can absorb a generous amount of essence. The fit is fairly small. The eye holes are small and placed too close to each other. I was getting essence in the corner of my eyes, so I had to stretch the holes a bit to avoid the essence from getting in to my eye area.

I kept the mask on for 20 minutes before removing it. Once removed, residue from the essence remained on my skin for a good five minutes before completely getting dry. I thought that it would be sticky but once dry, it was all good. No stickiness or greasiness. I did not notice any immediate brightening effect or anything visible changes but in terms of hydration, this mask is good. However, the following morning, a tiny red zit popped out of the bridge of my nose. L

Will I purchase this? No.

This cream is best use as the last step of a skincare routine. It is recommended for all skin types – especially to those who have acne, pimples or any skin irritation. It claims to help regenerate damaged skin, prevent acne scars and lighten pigmentation. It contains Centella Asiatica Extract which enhances collagen, which improves the density of the skin.

This cream has a light yet thick velvety consistency almost similar to a balm. It is easily absorbed by the skin and does not leave any sticky or oily residue. I love that this cream is unscented. I do not suffer from acne but I do have a pimple or two every now and then, that is why I cannot really say if this product works well on taming down acne. However, I like the extra layer of moisture that it provides.

Ingredients: Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Cyclopentasiloxane, Ethyl Hexanediol, Cyclohexasiloxane, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, Tromethamine, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Glyceryl Caprylate, Allantoin, Disodium EDT

Bliv O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask

This multi-functional mask uses oxygen bubbles and rice powder to brighten and enliven skin’s complexion. It also contains red soft beads that melt on the skin – these beads contain vitamin E which rejuvenates the skin.

How to use:
Apply a small amount onto the face and gently massage for a few seconds. Once you stop massaging, bubbles fill form. Leave the bubbles for 5-10 minutes. Massage once more for deeper cleansing.

This was my very first time to use any bubble based skincare. So my entire experience when I tried this product was new to me. Following all the instructions, I applied and massaged the thick silky product on my skin and eventually the tiny delicate bubbles formed. What I did not expect is that the bubbles would slowly pop and melt, giving an almost itchy (others would call it tickling but for me it was itchy) feeling. It wasn’t really that bad – it is tolerable but it is something to consider if you get easily bothered by itchiness. Once the bubbles pop, it dissipates and turns to a gel. In a span of 10 minutes, almost all the bubbles were gone. I rinsed the thick gel like substance on my face and I was pleasantly surprised with the immediate results. My skin looks clearer, brighter and more supple. It also did not leave it feeling tight and dry.

All in all, this mask is a fun mask to use. It also delivers its promise on brightening, purifying and exfoliating.
