I have used this line of mask from Boomdeahdah and I am very impressed with the quality and results. The sheet adheres well and the serum is easily absorbed by the skin. It always leave my skin looking relaxed and hydrated.

This is beyond cute! The packaging is just adorable! 

There are 3 variants of this mist - Shine Mist, Soothe Mist and Ocean Mist. I got the shine Mist - it contains Pearl Extract and provides a glowing finish to dull skin. 

All in all, I am very happy with this month's items. The last few months were blah but I am glad that Mishi Box stepped up!

This hair ampoule nourishes and repairs damaged hair. I believe that I got this same product from Mishi about a year ago.

The total value of this month's box is $47. Mishibox does not really give high priced items in their box but at least they do not go below the cost of their subscription. Double the value is always better than just meeting the cut. 

My favorite item to try in this month's selection would be the Ettang Cook Pack The Fresh Rubber Mask. I have heard about it and I am pretty excited to try it.

Chok chok is a word commonly used in Korea to describe perfectly moisturized things - cake, food and of course, skin.

I love using hand mask - it is just like having am at home hand spa! This mask contains paraffin, shea butter and ceramide which deeply conditions and moisturize the skin. It also contains niacinamide and lemon extract which brighten the skin.

This powder helps troubled skin. It can be directly applied to pimples to calm it down.

How to use:
Mix with a small amount of water and powder. Apply the mixture directly onto pimples. This powder can also be mixed with mud/charcoal/modeling mask for a skin clarifying routine. It can also be mixed with moisturizer, serum or toner for an extra calming effect.

This is one of my all time favorite mask! The serum is thick and highly concentrated - it contains Vitamin C and niacinamide which brightens the skin. This highly moisturizing mask also contains ceramide, shea butter and betaine.

All in all the total value of this month's box is double the cost of subscription - $45! Not bad considering the items in the box are very usable. My favorite, for sure , is the Healavie Serum Mask. I also cannot wait to try the Chok Chok mask!

Hmmm. As the first box of the year, I find the selection of products short and disappointing.  In as much as all five goodies are full size, I cannot help but notice that the 3 one-time use mask are bit stingy in terms of value.

This cream is a synthetic peptide developed to mimic snake venom, specifically the Temple Viper.  Venon, in low doses, can improve the appearance of wrinkles. Syn-Ake reduces muscle contractions of the face, thus minimizing the appearance of wrinkles. This reminds me of botox!

This product contains Portulaca Oleracea extract and Glycerin to calm irritated skin.
This ampoule is best to use during the winter months as it calms chapped skin due to dry cold weather.

This wash off mask balances the skin's pH to 5.5. It contains Bentonite and Kaoline which removes sebum and deep seated dirt in the skin.

All in all, aside from the unique selection of products, the full value of this box is a let-down. Three items are less than $5!

This cleanser does not contain any parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrance or petrochemicals.



Innisfree Volcanic Konjac Cleansing Sponge

This sponge is made of natural fibrous root of the konjac plant. I remember when konjac first came to the beauty scene and everyone was just all over it. I honestly find konjac sponges very effective in gently exfoliating the skin. However, it is not something that would last for a long time. It can harbor tons of bacteria and even serve as a breeding ground for molds if not cleaned and dried properly.
