Garcinia Cambogia is one of the biggest thing right now when it comes to losing weight.  Thanks to Dr. Oz, there is now a Million and One Garcinia Cambogia in the market claiming to be ‘the one’ that can help in losing weight.

I was given an opportunity by Life and Food to try and review their Garcinia Cambogia.  I have tried another brand a few years back and I have already a set perception of this diet pills based on what I have experienced.  The only thing that convinced me to try this brand is the amount of HCA in it – it has 85% HCA which is higher than the average amount in almost all the pills in the market.

For review and experimental purposes, I tried Life and Food Garcinia Cambogia for about 2 weeks straight. I took 2 capsules 30 minutes before lunch.  I also did not change the way I eat but I continued to do my regular exercise, which is about 3 to 4 times a week.  I eat pretty healthy however; my pitfall would be my undying love for chocolates – which I consume every single day (about 2-3 mini snack size bar)!

So what did I observed? Well, for starters, I did not lose a single pound BUT, I have to say that it did curb my appetite.  I experienced less hunger pangs and fewer cravings for anything sweet and starchy. My energy level throughout the day changed a little – I still felt a bit energized during the latter part of the day.

I guess that the results of taking this pill in terms of shedding pounds depend on how much weight a person really has to lose.  You will not lose that much if you are stick-thin.  Also, I believe that losing weight slowly but surely is better than any quick fix.
This product is not for everyone, but, it could definitely help for a quick boost or as a start to a healthier lifestyle.

The Glitter Tattoo Kit by Custom Body Art is truly a wonderful product to have if you want to have boat loads of fun with your kids. It comes with 12 assorted colored glitters, 30 adhesive stencils with assorted design, 2 brushes, 2 bottles of glue and an instruction sheet.

It is very easy to use, just pick a stencil and stick it to the part where you want to have your tattoo. Apply the glue then brush it with your choice of glitter color/s. Pull out the stencil to reveal the tattoo! Tadah!

The quality of the glue is also good. I was surprised to see that it lasts so long on the skin – about 3-5 days.  Don’t worry about it getting wet because it will stay, although of course, a good scrubbing can do the trick when you really need it to be removed from the skin. Glitter Tattoo Kit by Custom Body Art is also non toxic.
This package is perfect for parties! I am sure that everyone, young and old alike will have a blast!

There are a lot of benefits of using Dead Sea Salts because of its high mineral content. It is believed to provide relief from several skin problems such as Eczema, Psoriasis and several skin allergies. It also relaxes tired muscles and lessens stress and anxiety.

Other uses includes homemade or DIY scrub my mixing it with massage oils and aromatherapy oils.

Adovia Dead Sea Salt is 100 % pure and compared to regular Epsom Salt, this one really better. I used it to cap off a stressful week and sure enough, after soaking for 20 minutes, it melted the tight muscles and tension from my body. It surely is very relaxing! It also did not dry up my skin.  I did not feel any tightness or itchiness after the long soak.

The product itself is contained in a resalable bag which is good for keeping it dry. The granules are not too big but also not too fine. Its texture is very good for DIY body scrubs.

DIY DEAD SEA SALT SCRUB RECIPE

Ingredients:
1 Cup Dead Sea Salt
½ Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil (You may use Sweet Almond Oil too)
5-10 drops of Essential Oil (Lavender, Jasmine, Rosemary or Eucalyptus)
Optional: Drops of Vitamin E oil

*Mix up all ingredients. Let the salt soak up the oils.  Adjust amount of Olive Oil according to how smooth you want your scrub.

Fiber lashes has been in the market for quite some time, however, it haven’t garnered enough popularity to go mainstream.

I was given an opportunity to try fiber lash mascara.  I am a bit apprehensive to try it at first because I was afraid that the fibers would eventually fall-off and irritate my eyes.  Nevertheless, I still tried it and I can say that it does have its pros and cons.

What I like about this mascara is that it really works better than regular mascara and it does give a look of fuller and longer lashes. It also doesn’t clump and make your lashes look like spider legs – it doesn’t look natural but it doesn’t look too piled-up.

How to use:
Step One:
Apply a generous coat of Magnifying Gel to lashes from base to top.  15-20 strokes to ensure each lash is coated.

Step Two:
While the Gel is still wet, gently brush the natural fibers from mid lashes to top lashes. Be careful not to apply the fibers close to the eyeballs. About 10-15 strokes is enough.

Step Three:
Allow 20 seconds for the fibers to dry and then apply the Magnifying Gel to seal the fibers.

*For more volume repeat steps 2-3.

The Verdict:
This mascara is good if you have time to do all steps 1-3.  I myself, find it a bit tedious to do all the steps every single day.  However, I am pretty sure that I will use this when I have more time to get dolled-up.  Also, it takes a bit of practice to master the application of the product.  You really have to be careful especially when applying the fibers.  It can really make a mess.  I also notice that there were a few flecks of fiber that fell on the skin under my eyes.
