Loot Crate is a monthly mystery subscription box of geek and gamer gear.  It is filled with exclusive items from the biggest and most popular pop culture franchises. The cost for a monthly subscription is $13.95 + $6 Shipping.

The Loot Crate umbrella now offers other boxes such as Loot Crate Pets and Loot Crate Anime.

This Unboxing is for the original Loot Crate box.

This month's theme is Quest. It featured items from Harry Potter, Labyrinth, Vikings
and Uncharted 4.

These are the items in the box. All items this month are Loot Crate exclusive. Here's a closer look of all the loot:

Each box also has a collectible pin that can can unlock an extra digital gift at Lootcrate.com.
This month's pin took inspiration from the popular online game, Dungeons and Dragons.

Here is this month's Loot Crate magazine.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Poster (Sony Playstation)

Labyrinth T-Shirt (Ripple Junction)

D20 Ice Mold (Loot Crate Labs)

Harry Potter Socks (HYP Hosiery)

Vikings Drinking Horn with Strap (Chronicle Collectibles)

I am very impressed with this month's Loot Crate box. My favorite item is definitely the Labyrinth T-Shirt and the Vikings drinking cup.  I was expecting a more impressive Harry Potter item - perhaps a collectible -like a wand or or an action figure. The socks are ok but I am not a big fan of the horcrux design.

IPSY is a $10 monthly subscription box of beauty products.

Each box (or pink package) contains a make-up pouch that is designed according to the monthly box theme. The bag contains a combination of 4-5 sample and full size products. This subscription box is the best way to try and test different make-up brands without breaking the bank. This is also a cheap way to build your make up arsenal. :)

I received 2 full and 3 deluxe size items. I am not that excited about the curated items for me in this bag. I also noticed that Ipsy keeps on sending me gold eye shadow  - I have about 10 gold eye products and all of it are from Ipsy.  I guess I need to retake my Profile Style Quiz.  Maybe this way, they would stop sending me gold eye shadows.

There are two things that I really like in this bag - the Tarte Lip Surgence and the blush brush from Crown.  One can never have too much lipstick and brush!
