So, shaving – something that most women, including me, do all the time. Let’s face it, there is a myriad of razors in the market some even as cheap as a dollar for 10 razors. It comes in all colors, number of blades and even sizes. I, myself, use my husband’s razor stash! I mean, a razor is a razor right? Not really!

Last December, I attended the Blogger Bash hosted by Cymbrethinks and we were gifted with an Aveline Razor in the swagbag. Small razor handle looks intriguing, but looking closely, the design made me even more curious on how it works. It has 6 razor blades, a swiveling cartridge, finger ring and 3 rollerballs.

The size of the handle plus the finger ring is very ergonomic – it doesn’t slip and it is not awkward to hold. The Roller balls are simply genius – it glides and helps the razor maneuver on the skin. Most of all, the blades – oh boy! Close shave and no nicks! It is sharp!

That is why I am glad when I was given a chance to try the whole line of Aveline – the body scrub, shaving cream and body lotion.

These three products works together for a perfect shave. The scrub preps the skin by removing dead skin and prevents ingrown hairs.

The shaving lotion contains shea butter and botanical oils which help in preventing post-shave irritation. Also, it helps in lubricating the skin surface for that smooth shaving action!

Now, we all put lotion on our skin after bathing but hold it off for at least 30 minutes to avoid irritation. The Aveline lotion is the third step to keep those legs (arms or even bikini area) in tiptop shape. It is very moisturizing but not sticky. It smells good too!

Tonique de Aurora

The main ingredient of this toner is Niacinamide which works to visibly improve the look of enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles as well as brighten dull looking skin. It also contains Centella Asiatica which is known for its wound healing properties. It is jampacked with other botanical extracts such as primerose, bamboo, aloe, licorice and rosemary.

The packaging of the product is very luxurious. The glass bottle perfectly showcases the light emerald toner inside.

Challans de Paris Essence de Beaute

Complementing the Challans de Tonique de Aurora, this lightweight essence boosts the same ingredients such as niacinamide, centella asiatica and a plethora of botanical extracts.

This light weight essence has as consistency of a very thin facial lotion. It sinks in the skin without leaving a greasy finish. It also adds an additional layer of hydration on the skin.

Challans de Paris Masque de Aurora

Best used after the Challans de Paris Tonique de Aurora, this mask saturates the skin with a clear serum that is formulated with Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Adenosine and other botanical extracts such as onion, primrose, basil, aloe vera and turmeric.

The sheet is a little thick but the fit is perfect. It is also very soft and it adherence is very good. I kept the mask on for 20 minutes. It left my skin well hydrated without the tacky finish.
