Green Tea Cheese Cake

I was given an opportunity to try and test Midori Spring Organic Matcha. This green tea is of very fine quality and it also has a very fresh aroma. The Matcha stored in a tin and sealed with a pull top and lid. Make sure to refrigerate after opening to keep it fresh!

Now, drinking tea is good but having it for dessert is definitely much better! I checked online and found this yummy Cheese Cake Recipe. This cake is great to serve this coming Holiday!

Green Tea Cheese Cake 




Ingredients:

  • (2) 8oz Packages of Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 3/4 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 TBSP Green Tea Powder
  • 2 TSP Vanilla
  • 1 9 Inch Prepared Graham Cracker Pie Crust
Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar together with hand or stand mixer until it turns smooth. 
  • In the same bowl, mix in green tea powder, eggs, and vanilla until light and creamy.
  • Pour mix into the prepared graham cracker pie crust. 
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. You’ll know it’s done when the center jiggles evenly when the cake is shaken lightly.
  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving
