This month's bag is really cute but a bit childish. The concept is similar to those kid's activity bags that comes with markers. Same thing - this bag comes with 2 markers to color and decorate the bag. Yup, it is creative but childish.

It seems that the items in this was not curated well - it does not go with the Create theme. There is almost nothing creative in it - perhaps just with the exemption of the actual glam bag. I was hoping to get more daring and colorful items, instead I got something classic and plain. The sizes of the products are also disappointing. To get 4 deluxe samples out of 5 is bad. To make it worse, the full sized lip oil (or gloss) is not that exciting either.

Out of the 5 items I got from this bag, I only like 2 - and that would be the brush and the nail polish. It is rare to get a good quality nail polish and I am happy that I received a color that I like. Usually nail polish colors in subscription boxes are either red, pink or some unflattering shade. The brush, on the other hand, is a no brainer. Who doesn't need brushes? The brush also makes this glambag worth it.

I am happy that this month's glam bag gave me a sort of a complete set of makeup.  I lot a lippie, am eyeliner, a mascara, a blush and a body lotion. It is also good that I got 2 full sized products. 

By far, Ipsy is really one of the the best subscription service.  Its cost to value ratio is high.

This cute make up bag is made of thick linen cloth.  I love its simple yet quirky design.

This lotion has a light, whipped cinsistency - perfect for the summer weather. 
It has blends of coconut oil, shea butter and aloe vera.

 This is well pigmented - long wearing blush. It stays for 12 straight hours (according to Ipsy).


Beauty For Real
I-LINE 24-7 Eyeliner

I have been using Beauty for Real eyeliner for a while and I am really loving its formula.  It stays on for hours and doesn't budge! It  is well pigmented too. It does not dry immediately, giving time to smudge and amp up your line before it sets. 

The color I got is Chocolate Fix. It is a beautiful deep brown shade that is perfect for a more natural look. 






VASANTI COSMETICS
POWER OILS LIP GLOSS in SUPER MOM 

I am not a big fan of matte lip products so this one really works for me. I love the neutral shade too!



PÜR
Mini Fully Charged Magnetic Mascara 

 Honestly, I have not tried this mascara but this product seems to be really interesting and promising.  According to Ipsy, this mascara is made of magnets?! It is supposed to latch on to the lashes to strengthen, thicken and lengthen it. The wand separated and fans out the lashes making it look extra fluttery. Well, we'll see. I have yet to try it. To see is to believe, right?

All in all, I am very happy with this month's glam bag. All my products are something that I can totally use.

What do you spy? Can you see that wonderful Lisa Frank brush! Eeek! This month's glambag is beyond words. The bag alone is already quirky and unique. 



The ticket styled bag is pretty small and can barely hold an arsenal of cosmetics - but - it is so darn cute! It could hold perhaps a lip gloss and a compact.

 I never really likes pastel colored nail polish but this one is an exemption. The color is beautiful - kinda reminds me of Spring and Easter. 

 

All in all, this month's glam bag is a winner for me. Everything in it is something that I will definitely use. The Lisa Frank brush also made everything worth it! The brush is sooo beautiful and very nostalgic! I don't think I will use it all - maybe I will frame it and hang it on my wall!

This month's make up bag is really cute.  I love the astro design  - kinda blends in with the Supermoon that we had earlier this week. I also noticed that this bag is padded.

I received the Light/Medium shade - which is definitely not my color. Although not my shade, I still tried it on for the purpose of testing and I find it really good. It applies and blends easily. Definitely a must buy item for me!

Double down. Duo fibers give us greater control over how we apply.Lighten up. Synthetic white fibers on the end of the brush lay down pigments more gently than a denser brush would (which means zero risk of overdoing it). Works well with powders, creams and liquids. 
 
Receiving a brush from a subscription service is my BINGO! item. I am ALWAYS happy to get a good quality brush. Now, this month is a winner for me. I love Luxie.  The quality of their brushes are amazing! It is so soft to the touch and it works really well.
