This month's theme is Defense Against the Dark Arts.

"We're facing the foulest creatures and most hideous curses known to wizardkind with collectibles, artifacts and more designed to aid in the Defense Against the Dark Arts. "

-Loot Crate

Here are the items:

This is the design of the box when flipped inside out.  Loot Crate has been very creative with their box design. It used to be just a decorated storage bin but the past few box designed are very clever. Loot Crate added fun and engaging elements in their box.

The box transforms into a fun  Patronus and Dementor light up project.

Here's a closer look of the curated items:

Marvolo's Ring Enamel Pin

This is Tom Riddle's second Horcrux. It comes in the form of Marvolo Gaunt's signet ring.

Professor Snape's Premium Wand Pen

A diecast resin replica of the wizard we all hated until we all realized that he was Always have been the good guy.

Guardians of Hogwarts Bookends

Defense Against the Dark Arts Journal

Counter Course T-Shirt

Here are the goodies:

Professor Umbridge 'Frolicsome Feline Plates

Remember these creepy (but cute) plates from Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix?

These plates looks vintage-y and are pretty small. The smallest plate in the bunch measures about 3".

Chamber of Secrets Stationery Set

This set comes with note cards, envelope, a stick of wax and a stamp.

 Azkaban Pouch

The numbers on this pouch is Sirius Black's prison number!

Tom Riddle Diary Pin

From Harry Potter and the  Chamber of Secrets. This was one the Dark Lord's most prized Horcruxes.

Here are the goodies:

Hogwarts House Duffle Bag

House: Gryffindor

I love this novelty item. Cute bag, very roomy - it can fit a lot of stuff in it. Perfect as a carry-on luggage or for short vacation trips. One honest comment - it is not sturdy. I will not be surprised if the zipper gives anytime soon. Otherwise, as a fan, I am just happy to have Gryffindor duffle to show off on my next 2 night trip.

Gryffindor Beanie

Note to self: Wear this on the next Quidditch match. :)

Hogwarts Raglan Shirt

It features the school's crest, motto and mascots.

Hogwarts Express Lanyard

with a Ticket Print

 Sorting Hat Pin and Scroll

Just like the original Lootcrate box, the Wizarding World box includes a monthly collectible pin. This is the perfect pin for this month's theme.

All in all, I am very happy to have received all these wonderful goodies. I also appreciate that I was sorted to the Gryffindor House! Opening this box was so much fun! I checked out on Instagram and saw the other Hogwarts  houses featured by a lot of Wizarding World subscribers.

Here is closer look of the first  J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World Subscription Box

This month's box is geared towards more on the Fantastic Beast theme. I was expecting this but hoping to get some Harry Potter stuff too - simply because I am a huge fan. Nevertheless, I am happy to receive these things inspired by the new movie.

Macusa Notebook

Magical Congress of the United Sates of America Notebook

Pop Figure (Assortment)

Niffler

Other possible figure includes Newt Scamander, Tina Goldstein, Albus Dumbledore

and Jacob Kowalski

Hmm. I'm a little bummed to have received Niffler instead of a Dumbledore or Scamander figure.

 Hedwig/Letter Keychain

I love this keychain! The design  is really cute though it is quite heavy.

 Pigwidgeon Plush

This is the owl given to Ron by Sirius Black

 Fantastic Beast T-Shirt

Featuring a page from the New York Ghost Paper

 Bowtruckle Pin

From the Fantastic Beast Movie

Instead of the typical Loot Crate exclusive magazine, a beautiful scroll listing all the items in this month's box was thrown in - it  adds a bit more magic to the already amazing box!
