Product Feature: Sylveco Skin Care Line

Sylveco is a skincare line that uses only raw natural ingredients without chemical processing. It works well with sensitive skin as well as those who have skin conditions.

The star ingredient in this line is betulin, which is commonly found in the sap of trees and in some mushrooms. It has potent anti-inflammatory properties and it is also a very strong anti-oxidant. Sylveco harvests this organic compound form Birch Trees, which is considered to be the richest source of betulin.

Chamomile Face Wash

Formulated with 25 Salicylic Acid and Chamomile Extracts, this facial wash doesn’t strip the skin off its moisture. Some cleansers leave the skin squeaky clean making it feel like the skin is extremely clean BUT that is not ok. Remember that your skin is not the bathroom sink that needs to be squeaky clean. The skin must and should always retain moisture. This facial wash, does what it is suppose to do – clean, dissolve dirt and grime without drying the skin. Hence, there is no feeling of skin tightness after rinsing.

Exfoliating Facial Scrub For Oily and Combination Skin

This facial scrub contains corundum (another name for Aluminum Oxide). This ingredient is popularly used in microdermabrasion. It is very tiny but abrasive enough to remove dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. Since these tiny beads are abrasive, be sure to be gentle when massaging this on the skin.

Another notable ingredient is Horsetail Extract which soothes the skin. It also speeds up tissue regeneration and minimizes oil production. Yay, for no oily summer face!

Hibiscus Facial Toner

This dark amber-colored thick toner contains hibiscus and aloe vera extracts which soothes and nourishes the skin. I was pleasantly surprised with this toner because I am used to using those that has a thin and watery consistency. Note that the toner is thick but it is still liquid and not gel-like. It also removes traces of make-up that wasn’t washed –off during cleansing. It also freshens up the skin!

I thought that this toner would have a strong floral scent but nope, the scent is very faint – almost close to nothing.

Calendula Light Moisturizer

This hypoallergenic moisturizer is easily absorbed by the skin without leaving any film of oiliness. It contains Calendula and Birch Bark Extracts as well as Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Allantoin and Shea Butter.

It feels really light on the skin. For me, it is the perfect day-time moisturizer because it works well under make up. It also keeps my skin hydrated and well moisturized all day long.
