Argan Oil is truly a beauty product must have. You can use it as a facial moisturizer, leave-in conditioner, facial mask, cuticle softener, deep conditioner, body oil, anti-aging skin care, hair serum, hydrating toner and so much more. It is an all around beauty item!

I was given an opportunity to try and test Uni Moroccan Argan Oil.

This Argan Oil is 100% pure organic triple virgin oil that is super light weight and fast absorbing. It has no additives and it is fragrance free. It is non-sensitive and non-irritant too. I am very happy with this oil because it really delivers what it claims to do.

Argan Oil is also great to use as an ingredient to any DIY  beauty recipe. I usually mix Argan Oil with other essential oils to give it an extra umph!

Here is a recipe for a good DIY Leave-In Hair Conditioner

What you need:
Argan Oil – 10 ml
Jojoba Oil – 30 ml
Water – 50 ml
Essential Oil - Lavender or Chamomile would be a good choice

Mix together all the ingredients and put in a clean sprayer. Use it after shower.

Argan Oil is everywhere now.  There is a bandwagon of products containing Argan Oil in their formula – whether it may be shampoo, cosmetics, lotion or nail products.

I was given an opportunity to try and review Gio Naturals 100% Pure Argan Oil. Their product is imported from Morocco and bottled in USA. It is 100% pure – no additives.  It does not have any odd smell and the texture of the oil is very smooth and visually, it is very clear.

To sample the product, I mixed about 3 tbsp or Argan oil and 8 drops of Peppermint Oil in a small roller ball container. I used it as a cuticle moisturizer. I love how it is easily absorbed by the skin around my nails.  It also softened my cuticles and moisturized my dry hands.

How to use Argan Oil:

Face moisturizer – Argan is a dry oil and the skin absorbs it quicly.  It is also not greasy.  If you want to use it as a serum, apply your night cream after you apply the Argan Oil.

Hydrating toner – Mix a few drops of Argan Oil in to your toner or create your won by mixing the oil with some rose water.

Exfoliating lip scrub and moisturizer – mix together a few drops of Argan Oil, vanilla extract and brown sugar. Massage into lips and rinse off.

Face glow – add a few drops of oil with your foundation or bronzer for a dewy glow.

Leave-on conditioner – Use a few drops to moisturize and hydrate your hair and scalp. Argan Oil is very good to use on dry and damaged hair too! You can also use it as a shine serum. Remember, a little goes a long way!

Overnight hair treatment - Massage a generous amount of Argan Oil into your hair, ends and scalp. Wrap your hair and leave it on overnight then wash it the next day. This will make you hair very soft!

Cuticle and heel softener Massage a few drops of Argan Oil into your cuticles to soften, moisturize and encourage nail growth.

Use as an overnight treatment to nourish cracked heels by working a good amount into your feet and toes. Cover with socks.

Body and bath oil - Add a few drops of Argan Oil directly onto your skin, into the bath or body lotion.
